Nida's

During a lunch break one day this week I headed over to The North Market to grab a bite with an amigo.
After perusing the vendors and "sampling" A Taste of Belgium for probably the hundredth time, we landed at Nida's.
Famous for "Nida's Thai on High," they offer delicious variations of pad thai and other asian classics.

We ordered the pad thai bento box & a spicy tuna roll.  The bento box comes with a side salad, egg roll, 3 california pieces & an order of pad thai.  The ginger dressing on the salad was quite perfect.  The pad thai definitely had some kick to it, but if you are really in to spicy food, then you would want to try to put some hot sauce on it- like sriracha, aka the best condiment in the world.  But the pad thai was very flavorful, with big chunks of white meat chicken.  You can chose your protein of beef, shrimp, chicken, or tofu which is always nice.  The bento box will be filling even to someone like my friend who has a big appetite.  The spicy tuna roll is accompanied with chili flakes on the outside of each roll & a cucumber wrapped inside with the tuna.  A surprise I enjoyed.  Nida's offers a wide range of apps like crab ragoons and curry dishes of all flavors- I'll just have to come back!

Nida's main restaurant is located at 769 N. High Street, Columbus. All images via Nida's.
