I loved my room growing up- my classic go to's of blue and white. No complaints. It was luxe. But now I'm annoyed seeing this bedroom by Serena & Lily- what a perfect High School room... snooze you lose.
Like everything needs a place, everyone needs a space. To call their own. My personal office is my favorite space to be in when I'm not in the kitchen. Here are some desks I wouldn't mind calling my own.
And they continue...

In honor of Cindo de Mayo-- I'd like to express my love for Mi Mexico. Located far, far East on Main Street is a little Mexican heaven with the best queso around. My friends and I often visit on Thursdays for their mighty ritas at half price & addicting chips and salsa. With an extensive menu, it's best to just order what you want and they'll tell you the combo number. They have great lunch combos & their website offers coupons that can be used until 30 days passed the print out date.
If you're looking for a place downtown La Fogata is perfect. Located on North High & Hull, next to Haiku, is a great place for dinner and drinks before a night out. Also a great place on Mondays for their $2 margaritas all night and half price dinner before six. I love the chicken nachos with green peppers and melted cheese served with lettuce and sour cream. If you are looking for a big meal order the fajitas or a chimichanga, it will surely satisfy you! The only thing lacking is the service. The patio atmosphere is superb. I'm sure it will be packed tonight for the holiday.
Another rival is El Vaquero with many locations throughout Columbus. There are certain places you visit to order the same meal every time, and that is me with the Pollo Adobe. Grilled chicken served with onions, chile poblano, & cheese with rice and beans and tortillas. yum. Their website also offers coupons- don't forget to check them out!

Don't underestimate the power of grapefruit. Studies show that eating half of a grapefruit a day encourages weight loss, reduces risk of heart disease, and aids in repair of cell damage.
I like to replace my orange juice- that is usually processed, with half of a grapefruit in the morning. Or eat it as a dessert with a drizzle of local honey then broiled or grilled. Garnish with mint for the perfect flavor. They're available throughout the year for a reason!
