Market 65

I'm smitten.  A downtown salad restaurant that's healthy, light, and local.  Salad to-go places are hard to come by & Market 65 has made it easier. Sandwiches seem to be the lunch favorite, but sometimes you need something a bit more green.

I love their unique produce presentation.  Instead of a typical chopped vegetable, a whole one is on display.  They quickly cut up half of a cucumber and proceeded down the line to chop my grilled chicken breast or the protein of your choice.

My other favorite part was once the salad was mixed and before pouring it into a to go  container- they dump & chop.  This is so ideal for making the lettuce and rest of the salad more manageable. Applause. Not in the mood to use a fork? They'll wrap it in a pita that's just as delish...

My creation of mixed greens, haricot verts, blackened chicken, red onion, parmesan crisps, & cucumbers!! All tossed in a light ginger dressing.  Located right by the Palace Theater you can park in the meters and pop on in for a local crisp salad.
